EcoSmart dealers, Steve Prosser and his wife Carolyn operate the only solar shopfront in Inverell, a rural town in NSW.

Located at 82 Otho Street, the shop welcomes customers enquiring about the unbelievable benefits that solar hot water has to offer, including slashing electricity household bills by up to 80 per cent and reducing greenhouse gases by 60 per cent.

Steve who is a fully qualified electrician enjoys working side by side with son Cale who is an apprentice. His wife Carolyn helps with explaining and implementing all eligible Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) and solar hot water rebates that are currently on offer. The family aims to help residents acquire more knowledge about renewable energy and help make the switch to solar as a smooth process.

Offering state of the art solar hot water systems, Steve said, “We have faith in our products, our professional experience and believe renewable energy is the way of the future.

“Our expertise through continued training helps us to fulfil our customers’ energy needs and we are very pleased to be representing an Australian manufactured and owned brand,” he added.

At the moment the Prosser family are working almost seven days per week to help grow their local business, but when they do have spare time they enjoy hanging out together on their rural property and love scuba diving adventures.
